Music In The Meadow

The BletchFest series of community focused arts events continues with a grand music festival to be held on Grange Meadow Bletchingley on Saturday the 2nd July 2022. The event showcases and celebrates the ability and talent of local East Surrey musicians.

With the gates opening at 5pm the event gets underway with local singer/songwriters performing their own compositions in a songwriter’s showcase. Performers include Nutfield residents Paul Webb and Chris Lee along with Nye Jones and Penny Brookes. Then sets by The Penny Drops and The Breathe Band are followed by our headliners, music legend Tim Hain and his band Lose the Blues.

Music in the Meadow differs from the more commercial music and beer festivals with 60’s cover and tribute bands in that we provide a platform for local talent performing tunes that you will know instantly and can happily sing along to, along with less recognisable songs that you will find yourself enjoying every bit as much as those more familiar. You will discover music you didn’t know you liked while also enjoying music you do know.

It’s not a beer festival but alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from the Pavilion bar along with food from our hot food stand - and parking is free! Feel free to take pictures at the event and submit your favourites to us at bletchfest@gmx.co,.uk and we’ll publish the best ones on our website.

Infants under 5 will be admitted free, provided they're with a responsible adult of course! Family tickets in groups of 4 are also available. Unaccompanied minors under 16 will not be admitted.

So come along and enjoy a great evening of great music celebrating the artistic talent we have on our own doorstep in East Surrey!

With 10% of the net proceeds of ticket sales going to Ukraine humanitarian support tickets are now on sale! To book your tickets just click on the button below. All tickets booked by Monday 27th June will enter a draw and you could win back the price of your individual ticket!
