Bletchfest: Creativity With a Community Spirit

Bletchfest has been proudly promoting both visual and performing arts in East Surrey since 2021, with the village of Bletchingley at its heart. What began as a spark of inspiration at a community Fun Day has grown into a year‑round celebration of creativity, connection and local talent.

We champion an inclusive, accessible arts culture by bringing people together through comedy, music, theatre, exhibitions and our much‑loved annual pantomime. From intimate indoor shows to open‑air performances, we create opportunities for everyone to experience and enjoy the arts.

Bletchfest is an initiative of Grange Meadow CIC, a not‑for‑profit Community Interest Company dedicated to raising funds for local community and charitable projects. Through our events and partnerships, we support the cultural life of East Surrey while helping to strengthen the organisations and initiatives that serve our community.

We collaborate with local artists, craftspeople and performers while also welcoming nationally recognised talent to our corner of Surrey. Along the way, Bletchfest has helped raise significant funds for charities and community groups, ensuring that creativity continues to enrich the lives of those around us.

Bletchfest exists because our community believes in the power of the arts — to inspire, to include and to bring people together. We’re here to keep that spirit thriving.
